Contract for the Supply of Products or Services
The display of goods on the Arctophilia Teddy Bears UK site amounts to an invitation to treat only and is not an offer to sell products or services at any price indicated. No contract for the supply of products or goods will be deemed to exist between you and Arctophilia Teddy Bears UK unless, and until, an email is sent by Arctophilia Teddy Bears UK to you confirming that your order has been accepted and payment has been successfully made.
This confirmation e-mail amounts to an acceptance by Arctophilia Teddy Bears UK of your offer to buy goods or services from Arctophilia Teddy Bears UK and this acceptance is effective regardless of whether or not you receive the e-mail.
Arctophilia Teddy Bears UK are free to withdraw from a prospective contract at any time prior to acceptance. This also applies in the case of any error or inaccuracy in respect of the goods or services, any description applied to the goods or services, the availability of the goods or services, or the order itself.

Processing of orders
Credit cards are debited before items are shipped or before services are activated by Arctophilia Teddy Bears UK.

It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We track the electronic fingerprints of every order placed on this website to enable us and all legitimate crime prevention and prosecution authorities to trace individual users engaging in criminal activities on our website.
Changes in Terms
Arctophilia Teddy Bears UK reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any modification of these terms will be deemed to be effective from the date and time of posting on the Arctophilia Teddy Bears UK web site.
Shipping/Handling Policy:
Free postage and packing is available on all UK orders by standard second class or parcel post as appropriate. A proof of posting will be obtained when your order is sent but please be aware that this does not insure against loss or damage. If you wish to take advantage of this, please select the "FREE UK P&P" option when at the checkout.
Otherwise, where applicable and depending on the optiom selected at the chekout, postage and packaging will be added to your order at the the following rates, prior to processing, based on the total of your order. You will be notified of the total amount due.
UK orders up to £20.00: add £1.95
UK orders up to £30.00: add £2.95
UK orders up to £40.00: add £3.95
UK orders up to £50.00: add £4.95
UK orders over £50.00: no charge
Orders outside of the UK will be added at cost based on the total weight of your order and you will be notified separately of the total amount due.
Some people prefer not to submit card details on-line; if you wish to pay by cheque, PO or off-line by card, please contact us on 01795 597770 during opening hours before sending any form of payment or card authorisation.
With the exception of those UK orders under 50.00GBP requested to be sent free plus the Bad Taste Bear of the Month Program, which includes free First Class UK postage where selected, we aim to mail all goods using services which insure against loss or damage. A signature will be required on delivery to confirm receipt. In the UK, if there is no reply when delivery is attempted, a card will be left advising you of when delivery will be re-attempted or giving details of how to arrange collection or delivery at a time which is convenient. We understand that a similar system runs in most other countries.
Orders are securely packed and in the UK, depending on value and weight, are mailed using the Royal Mail First Class ‘Recorded Delivery’, ‘Special Delivery’ or Insured Parcel Post services. Orders under 50.00GBP where free p&p has been claimed will be sent by either second class post or parcel post. Orders outside of the UK are normally mailed by Royal Mail International Signed For’, Airsure or Insured Parcel Post services as appropriate. Some countries do not currently accept insured items from the UK, in which case we will use the best available service at the time of posting.
Postage and packing the Bad Taste Bear of the Month Program can be upgraded to any of the above services if desired.
Most orders are dealt with on the working day of receipt but we aim to process and ship ALL card payment orders within 2 working days. If for any reason this is not possible we will notify you and keep you informed. For cheque payment, please allow for up to 7 days clearance time.
Please note that Arctophilia is not normally open on Sundays, Mondays or UK Bank / Public Holidays. Orders placed after close of business on Saturday may not therefore be received by us until the following Tuesday.
You can check on the status of your order with us using the details sent by e-mail after your order is placed.
Delivery times are outside of our control but should fall within the following guidelines from the time of shipping:
UK - next day or 1 to 2 days,
Europe - 4 to 5 days,
Rest of world - 7 to 10 days.
