Hermann Teddy Original

The birthplace of the Original Hermann Teddy Bears was in Sonneberg, a small town at the border of the Thuringian Forest. It was there that Bernhard Hermann founded his family business in 1912. Together with his three sons and some skilled workers, he manufactured Teddy Bears and plush toys of excellent quality.

Today's business is managed by the grand-daughters of the founder. They continue the tradition of classic bearmaking and create trends around the Teddy Bears, with the emphasis always being on quality and design.

All bears of the Hermann Teddy Original collection wear the red "Teddy" seal, a much treasured label among Teddy Bear collectors all over the world.
