Since August 2006, sneaked in amongst the stock of the standard "Bear of the Month" figurines, were a number of special Golden Shower bears. There was approximately a one in five chance of receiving one of these special bears but from May 2007, the odds began to vary each month, making some bears even rarer than others.

From January 2008, the Golden Shower promotion evolved again with another new twist! Every bear is the standard version but the first batch produced include a special foil pack hidden within the packaging. This pack will either contain a collectors' card of the relevant Bad Taste Bear or an extra special Golden Ticket! If you're one of the lucky buggers who manage to win in this lottery style promotion, you'll be given a secret code which wins you a guaranteed prize. Enter the code on the Bad Taste Bears website to find out what you've won and you could soon be the lucky owner of an elusive Golden Shower bear... If you do find a Golden Ticket then you will be sent the standard BOTM Collectors Card when you claim your prize.

Would you like us to send you the Bad Taste "Bear of the Month", every month, as soon as we have it in stock?

We now offer you the facility to pre-order your "Bear of the Month" and have it sent to you as soon as it arrives at Arctophilia. As a thank you for placing a regular order we'll pay for first class postage and packing within the UK. (For orders to be sent outside of the UK we'll make a small charge for ordinary air mail p&p of only 1.50GBP within Europe and 2.00GBP for the rest of the world). You will have the option to upgrade your UK postal service to Recorded or Special Delivery. Overseas customers may opt for the Signed For International service.

We will only charge your card as each bear is available and ready to be sent.
 
If you wish, you can also opt for our PLUS Program and have all new figurines that are released sent too, as soon as we have them in stock. Unless otherwise requested, these will be sent by recorded / special delivery within the UK and Signed For International outside of the UK. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we can supply any of the limited edition bears as we are generally resticted as to the amount that we can order. However, customers who purchase all other figurines from Arctophilia will obviously take priority for these items should sufficient be made available to us.
 
Until each Bad Taste Bear is announced, we do not know what the price will be, although the Bear of the Month has been set at 10.99GBP for the past year or more. To date the dearest RRP for a Bear of the Month has been 16.00GBP, although this was for a two bear set.

We do not know what future prices may be but so far, RRPs for the Bear of the Month have been between 10.00GBP and 16.00GBP each. The dearest standard figurine has been 20.00GBP although at certain times of the year, several figurines may be released at once. Limited editions are usually 30.00GBP - 40.00GBP.

Our prices for current bears will not exceed the manufacturer's RRP and all Club Members will also be eligible to receive a further 10% discount where applicable. E.g. A bear normally priced at 10.99GBP will be available at 9.89GBP (10% off) to club members.
